Who We Are

MOA (Mokichi Okada Association) is a global nonprofit organization rooted in the visionary philosophy of Mokichi Okada (1882–1955). Our mission is to contribute to the creation of a society free of disease, poverty, and conflict by promoting health, art, nature, and culture in harmony. We focus on holistic wellness through practices that align body, mind, and spirit—empowering individuals, families, and communities to thrive.

MOA International

MOA (Mokichi Okada International Association) carries out the ideals conceived by Mokichi Okada (1882-1955) that work towards realizing what he called “True Civilization”. In his words, “True civilization is simply the safety of life. It is the age in which humanity is ensured the safety of life” He described this civilized world as “[a world free of illness, poverty, and conflict” where “Truth, Virtue and Beauty” will manifest completely. To reach this ideal, it is essential to achieve true health at three levels: individual, household, and community. To do this, MOA promotes activities in the areas of health, food, agriculture, art, culture, education, etc., through its Wellness Centers– or, in Japanese, the “Ryoin” – which promotes integrative medicine with the dynamic support of its members and partners. This collective constitutes the “Healthy Life Networks” at the community level.
